Brief introduction
CEC certification is the Appliance Efficiency Regulation implemented by California Energy Commission on December 30, 2005. The purpose of the regulation is to improve the efficiency of electricity products, save energy, reduce gas emissions and greenhouse effect.
Combined with federal standards, California electrical regulations set minimum efficiency levels for energy and water consumption of 24 Categories products, including consumer electronics, household appliances and plumbing equipment.
According to the regulations, electrical products must be tested by a qualified laboratory in accordance with the corresponding standards before they can be sold in California.
AGC has been certified by the California Energy Commission as a CEC accredited testing organization to provide testing and registration services for products.
Certification mode: sample testing + registration
Certification period: 15 working days
Certification process:
-> Factory or buyer submits application for certification to AGC
->AGC provide quotation and contract signing
->AGC conduct test for sample
-> Test pass and report issued
->AGC will upload relevant information to the official website of CEC
-> Complete registration
