Certification

Company engaged in the business of manufacturing or importing electrical appliances (hereinafter referred to as " Filing operator ") shall submit a business filing Report to the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry within 30 days of starting the business. In the case of succession of business, changes in business content, or termination of business, filing is also required.

1All electrical products exported to Japan need to do the import filing METI , which is equivalent to the local guarantee agency in Japan.
② Even for the same product, each importing company must file a record.
③ The filing of component does not the same as the filing of the end product

After the use of wires (see Table 1) + plugs (see Table 4) + DC power supply (see Table 8) for filing,

and after it is used on a notebook ( see table 8 ), the computer equipment should be record.
Note: The spare lithium battery needs to be filed separately as a component.
④ Filing Japanese companies and third-party certification bodies, and manufacturers, filing applicants have the same responsibility for products.

Summary of imported products filing METI

METI filing, based on PSE certification, 2 working days, the validity period of the filing is the same as the validity period of the PSE certificate。
