New energy vehicles is the car to use the power source which is different from the vehicle fuels (or use conventional vehicle fuels, and use the new on-board power devices), integrate advanced technologies in vehicle power control and driving, and form advanced technical principles and new technologies and new structures. New energy vehicles include four types: hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), pure electric vehicles (BEV, including solar vehicles), fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV), and other new energy vehicles (such as super capacitors, flywheels and other high-efficiency energy storage) vehicles and so on.

Announcement of the "Regulations for the Automotive Power Battery Industry" This regulation was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in March 2015. Requirements have been made on the production conditions, technical capabilities, product requirements, and quality assurance capabilities of the company.

Power battery products should meet the requirements of current national standards and industry standards (see the attached table below), and be qualified by the organization authorized by the quality inspection department for the relevant testing qualifications for automotive power batteries.
